The Truth is Clean Homes Sell Faster Than Dirty Ones – Sell Your Home Fast in Today’s Market

My friend, who was in the market for a new home, finally found one that had tons of potential in my neighborhood and fell head over heels in love with it. However, the house was filthy. The Realtor assured her a professional cleaning company was scheduled to come in and clean it up and she could come back once they had cleaned the house from top to bottom.

I had high hopes for this house because it was so close to mine. I was very excited to support my friend and anxious to see the house of her dreams. A couple days later I got a call from my friend asking me to come with her on the second walk through with the Realtor.

The house was indeed beautiful and full of potential. However I sensed my friend’s disappointment as she discovered tile grout that had not come clean, cabinets still covered in grease and grime, hard water build up in the shower, tons of hardwood floors that had no shine and stainless steel appliances that looked like they’d have to be replaced.

The “professional” cleaning company was not able to get the house even close to clean enough. Both she and the Realtor looked like the wind had been knocked right out of them. However, I smiled! I was about to save the day – or should I say my steamer was about to save the day.

I disappeared long enough to retrieve my steam cleaner from home. I filled it with water and within no time at all my friend and the Realtor were standing there with their jaws on the floor. The shower was coming clean, so were the cabinets, appliances, tile and grout and WOW – the shine on those hardwood floors!

My friend and her Realtor will tell you, it was my steamer that sold the house. My friend bought the house and both she and her Realtor bought a steam cleaner like mine.

I cannot say enough good things about this steam cleaner. I love everything about it including how much time it saves me, how much easier my cleaning is and how much healthier my family is now that I clean with steam and not chemicals. If your house, new or not, needs a good steaming, get your self a steam cleaner and make it look like new!
